Mixtape Fridays Presents
DJ Monki is an underground tastemaker championing new electronic talent on her prime time Rinse FM show and digital imprint ZOO Music. At just 21 years old she is a resident at Annie Mac's critically acclaimed touring club night 'AMP,' and a regular fixture behind the decks at clubs and festivals around the UK and Europe.
Summer 2014 sees her take on the big hitters of the UK festival scene, including local favourite Bestival, the iconic Glastonbury, Creamfields, Lovebox and Boardmasters. Plus she'll be jetting out to the summer hotspots of Ibiza & Mallorca Rocks.
Her talents are not just limited to the decks, as she's been collaborating with a host of producers as part of her Monki & Friends project, formed at the Red Bull Studios. Whilst hosting parties with some of the UKs top dance acts including Karma Kid and Melé, Monki's been taking them in to the studio working on the Monki & Friends EP2.
