Will McNicol, Luke Selby

We are delighted to welcome back Will McNicol to The Art House, following three previous sell-out shows here, and this time he's not alone! Luke Selby is a professional drummer respected as one of the best, new talents on the scene.

Will's playing has won him numerous awards, including Guitarist Magazine's coveted UK Acoustic Guitarist of the Year 2011, held at London's Southbank Centre. He has been tutored by world-class classical and acoustic guitarists including Gerald Garcia, Stuart Ryan and Thomas Leeb.

Luke has a vast knowledge of playing styles and is of equal ability in all. Luke was heavily influenced by the funk grooves of 'David Garibaldi', 'Bernard Purdie' and 'Dennis Chambers' and the Latin rhythms of 'Alex Acuna' and 'Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez', their influence is reflected in his playing style today. He is a drum teacher for the Academy of Contemporary Music regional centre.
