A rare chance to get up close and personal with hugely influential folk icon, Dave Swarbrick. Expect chat, tunes and Q & A in Swarb's inimitable style.
Dave Swarbrick has been credited with the heralding of the 'second folk revival' in 1968 when he started playing with Fairport Convention. His fiddle playing is regarded as being largely responsible for the then new sound and direction of Fairport Convention and he has been described by Ashley Hutchings as 'the most influential [British] fiddle player bar none'.
With support from Said The Maiden, personally chosen by Swarb to open his first solo tour. This all girl trio are making waves with their selection of trad arrangements and close harmonies, accompanied with fiddle, guitar and at times, wonderful accapella.
