Sir Scallywad And The Golden Underpants : Ensemble 360
Following the sell-out successes of The Chimpanzees of Happytown and The Lion Who Wanted to Love, this laugh-out-loud musical adventure is the new children’s concert by Music in the Round’s Children’s Composer in Residence Paul Rissmann.
Based on
the book written by Giles Andreae (illustrated by Korky Paul and
published by Puffin, Penguin Books Ltd)
Recommended for ages three and above.
Alongside pieces such as Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks and
Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Sir Scallywag features lots of audience participation and illustrated projections (including a brief appearance of the King’s bottom!).

Ensemble 360
Formed in 2005, they have been taking the UK by storm. The ensemble brings together musicians from across the globe to form one versatile ensemble of eleven musicians: five wind players, a pianist, double bassist and the Elias String Quartet. 'The emotional chemistry was manifestly unusual. Pure magic' (Sunday Telegraph).
