Mike Hurst and The Springfields
Mike Hurst is one third of the original Springfields vocal group, alongside Dusty and Tom Springfield. They were the first British vocal group to have a top 20 American chart hit in 1962. Huge throughout the '60s, their final performance in October 1963 was watched by an estimated audience of more than 20 million. Dusty then became a huge international star in her own right, whilst Mike, after a brief spell with his own band, including Jimmy Page and Albert Lee, became one of the most successful British independent record producers of the 20th century.

One of the original Springfields along with Dusty and Tom, who between them are responsible for 80 hits as artists, writers and producers. Mike's 'new' Springfields are Marina Berry, session singer and TV presenter, and Andy Marlow, a virtuoso 12 string guitarist.
Mike had produced over 50 hits with Cat Stevens, Manfred Mann, The Move, Spencer Davies, Showaddywaddy and Shakin' Stevens. After a successful 'Springfields debut' at the Albert Hall in May 2011, he is now officially on the road.
