Two featured artists who share a veritable wealth of acclaim. Alan Barnes is well known for his effortless melodic solos. Considered by many to be the UK's finest sax player, his humour is as graceful and infectious as his playing.
Chris Spedding is such a modest man you could be forgiven for not knowing there is a book written about him and his Messianic career (the Reluctant Guitar Hero). An alumnus of Ian Carr's Nucleus he has a great jazz pedigree, even if his main claim to fame is playing on such legendary recordings as Jack Bruce's Song For The Tiller Man and his own hit record Motorbikin'.
