Shoreham Wordfest 2014: Darkness, Darkness

Author John Harvey talks about the latest Charlie Resnick novel, in conversation with Peter Guttridge.

Hardbitten detective inspector Charlie Resnick has been thrilling readers, and listeners to the radio dramas currently featured on Radio 4 Extra, since the first novel, Lonely Hearts, appeared in 1989. Ten novels later, he faces his last case in the recently released Darkness, Darkness.

Award winning author John Harvey will talk about the novel, and his decision to make it the last in the series, in conversation with Peter Guttridge. Peter is the former crime fiction critic for The Observer.
