John Harvey, award winning author of the Charlie Resnick detective series, reads poetry from his new collection, Out Of Silence, accompanied by John Lake's fiery four-piece band, celebrating in words and music some of the great jazz musicians of the past such as Chet Baker, Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker, and Lester Young. Joining them as special guest is Lee Harwood, one of the finest poets working in England today. Lee will be reading from his new book The Orchid Boat.
