Shangaan Electro (Nozinja)
Shangaan Electro toured Europe with a troupe of dancers last summer, gaining a new legion of fans of the addictive, feel-good and lightening-paced Shangaan sound.
First gracing global ears back in 2010 with a compilation on Honest Jon's, Nozinja has brought his pioneering 180-190bpm music from the Soweto township in Johannesburg to the world stage, ever retaining a pride in Shangaan culture. It's a great privilege for us to bring Nozinja back to Sheffield following his appearance at Tramlines Festival last year, this time for a more intimate performance at The Harley.
