John Agard, Buddy Wakefield

To mark the closing of the Picture The Poet exhibition in Sheffield, two internationally-acclaimed writers and performers read their poetry.

John Agard is an Afro-Guyanese poet and playwright now living in Britain. He has published numerous collections and won various awards, most recently the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry in 2012.

Buddy Wakefield is an American slam poet. One of the most successful performance poets anywhere in the world, he has two Individual World Poetry Slam Championship wins under his belt.

Also featuring local poets Gav Roberts, Stan Skinny and a performance by young people inspired by the Picture The Poet exhibition.
