Tek One
Tek-One are dance trio Howard, James and MC Tonn Piper who create music out of circuit bent children's toys, broken keyboards, short-circuited toy amps, anything with AA batteries and a low bit-rate. They operate as both a live show of drums and samples, or as a singular DJ. The live performance is a disorientating dance trip of phat beats, sampling and pounding drums. Imagine Aphex Twin and the Prodigy being let loose on Lightning Bolt's drum kit and you're halfway there.
