Room21 Big Band

Get out your glad rags and come and celebrate Victim Support’s 40th Birthday at one of Room 21 Big Band’s ever popular ‘Fabulous Forties Nights’ at the Redbourn Club, Scunthorpe on Saturday 20 September 2014 to raise money to help local victims and witnesses of crime.

Crime can have a devastating impact on victims, and every penny raised on the night will be put to work helping the 5,500 victims of crime in Humberside who get help from the charity every year.

With musicians based in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, Room21 Big Band has been entertaining audiences over the last decade. They are increasingly in demand for their popular Fabulous Forties Nights and the band has played throughout the region as well as at Bawtry Hall, the wartime headquarters for Bomber Command, at Duxford Imperial War Museum at their annual ‘Sally B Flying Fortress Day’ and at dances at The Spa, Bridlington. This fundraising event will feature all your forties favourites from In the Mood and American Patrol to Little Brown Jug and Moonlight Serenade. This is the band’s seventh charity event at the Redbourn Club but their first to raise funds for Victim Support.
