Onyx Brass

Onyx Brass has dominated the international brass chamber music scene, playing across Europe and the US, and even for The Queen and previous Prime Ministers.

They have performed and recorded with the likes of Bob Chilcott, John Tavener, John McCabe and Judith Bingham.

This programme takes us on an eclectic tour of the countries and composers who have contributed to our rich history of brass ensemble music over the centuries. It is rooted in the Renaissance but with a touch of the great fugue as well as more modern European composers.
