One of the UK’s finest young quartets, the Wu Quartet has performed at top venues and festivals in the UK, Europe and Asia. The winner of numerous international string quartet competitions, their performances offer an immediacy and connection with the repertoire they present and, as well as hand-picked quartets by Mozart and Beethoven, tonight’s programme includes Ligeti’s first quartet, a work with which these players have a deep connection.
