Motion In Pictures

This choreography has developed out of a 10 week course in contemporary dance technique and creative movement, led by choreographer and artistic director, Ruth Jones.

The project has linked up with the Adult Visual Art Course at The Lowry and has addressed dance as a visual art- involving drawing of the dancers during the devising process and will involve live drawing on stage.
The Ad Hoc participants have been led through some carefully crafted creative exercises. Their individual creative responses to the tasks, the resulting movement, have then been shaped in to this group choreography for performance.
