An acclaimed new musical celebrating sex, scandal and showbiz in 1940s London by Matthew Bugg.

Northern lass Maggie Brown has moved to London in search of fame. She auditions at every cabaret bar with her songwriter George, but nobody wants their act. Things aren't much better with her boyfriend Tom. And her brother Harry's missing in action.

Everything changes when Maggie and George are picked up by the charming nightclub owner Sir Frank. Soon 'Miss Nightingale' explodes onto the stage - shocking society with her outrageous outfits and saucy songs. She takes the West End by storm. But offstage romance and sexual tensions reveal secrets more dangerous than the Blitz.

Featuring 20 original numbers performed by a talented troop of actor musicians, including Ilan Goodman and burlesque supernova Amber Topaz. Miss Nightingale - the burlesque musical brings the vintage glamour of war-torn London thrillingly to life.

Dubbed the Yorkshire Tease – she is very proud of her Northern roots – Amber has been playing the lead in the musical Miss Nightingale, a touring burlesque-style production that is set in the 1940s. She was also selected to represent Britain in the Miss Exotic World – Burlesque Hall of Fame pageant held in Las Vegas, competing against the best burlesque performers drawn from 11 other countries.
