A special night to celebrate the launch of P.J. Philipson's album 'Peaks' on Little Crackd Rabbit. P.J. Philipson is a guitarist and producer based in Manchester. His solo debut album - 'Peaks' - comprises stereo-delay guitar pieces recorded entirely live one summer night in a Manchester church. Melodic, rhythmic, inventive and spacious, Philipson's playing on this excellent album takes occasional cues from such musicians as Robert Fripp, Vini Reilly, Robin Guthrie, Michael Rother and Richard Skelton, but has a fully-realised concept unique to itself.
