Rye Arts Festival - A Tribute To Elvin Jones
Major British modern jazz saxophonists don't come with bigger reputations than Alan Skidmore and Peter King. Both their careers span over 50 years and they are joined in this special concert by drummer Miles Levin, bassist Alec Dankworth and Steve Melling on piano in a tribute to legendary John Coltrane drummer, Elvin Jones.
Part of an annual event taking place every September in and around the
picturesque, historic town of Rye in East Sussex.
The festival attracts a stimulating array of authors, performers and artists both high profile and emerging, national and international.
