The Comedy Network: Jarlath Regan
Award winning comedian, writer and star of the hit Irish panel show, The Panel, Jarlath Regan has gained a reputation with audiences for his uplifting, inventive and relentlessly funny stand-up. A finalist in both the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards, Jarlath's first published book How To Break Bad News (Transworld for Random House) was an instant best-seller. Jarlath's other credits include the Comedy Central's The World Stands Up, Last Comic Standing on NBC, Live at The Stand Comedy Club (BBC Radio Scotland), The Blame Game (BBC Radio Ulster) and The Apprentice You're Fired (TV3).
Jarlath Regan
A former advertising executive who turned to comedy when his unmarketable greetings card ideas got him the sack, Irishman Jarleth Regan is a jack of all trades and all round decent fella, the kind you could take home to meet your mum. Raised on the windswept plains of the Curragh of Kildare he dreamed of being a professional basketball player but shelved the ambition due to combination of injuries and on the early on-set of cop on. The NBAs loss has been stand-up comedy's gain. 'He has a skilful way with words and a playful misplaced logic' (Chortle).
