St George's Day Concert
The Concert is a patriotic celebration featuring “Spitfire Prelude” the music for the motion picture “The First of the Few”. by Sir William Walton, “Nimrod” by Edward Elgar, “The Standard of St George” a rousing march composed by Kenneth Joseph Alford, and “Gandalf” by Johan De Meij and performed in the movie “The Lord of the Rings”.
