Never miss another 'Turin Brakes' show

Turin Brakes + Bailey Tzuke

Just 10 years after the release of their massively successful and critically acclaimed Mercury Music Prize nominee debut album 'The Optimist' Turin Brakes return to Reading for their first show in far too long!

The band has had sporadic success since their blistering debut album bought them to the attention of the world a decade ago. This featured the singles 'Underdog", 'Save Me' and 'Emergency 72'. Their follow-up album 'Ether Song' reached number 4 in the charts, producing one top 5 single - 'Pain Killer' and three further top 40 hits.

The band have attracted a number of high profile supporters including Take That who asked them to write a song for their hugely successful 2008 album The Circus. The song - entitled 'Here' - ended up as the final track on the multi-platinum, multi-million worldwide selling album. Olly Knights explains:

"I'm game for anything… I figured it could be an amazing experience and also help pay the mortgage a little while… So I wrote a song with them in mind, went in with Gary Barlow and Howard and finished it off with these guys… We've been killing ourselves for years making record after record and we get more coverage for mentioning Take That!"

with special guest..

BAILEY TZUKE

Bailey is widely known for her featured vocals, fronting the freemasons UK top 10 hit single "uninvited" released back in 2008. Bailey has also carved herself a successful independent music career as both a soloist and session artist. The daughter of UK hit songwriter Judie Tzuke, it's no surprise that Bailey would also one day become an outstanding singer/songwriter and performer in her own right!
