Annie

Annie is a spirited orphan determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage run by the haggard, embittered, but most definitely comic, Miss Hannigan.

Much to Miss Hannigan's annoyance Annie is chosen as ward to the billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, by Grace Farrell his personal secretary and Annie also befriends a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Enter Hannigan's crooked brother 'Rooster' and his 'moll' Lilly who spot the opportunity to make a mint from Warbucks by claiming they are Annie's long lost parents. Their plans are foiled when Annie befriends 'Daddy' Warbucks's friend President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who uncovers the crooks in the nick of time.

Annie features many well-known songs including 'It's a hard knock life' and 'Tomorrow'.
