The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker - a family orientated production featuring an impressive cast and accompanied by a large live Orchestra with over 30 musicians.
The Russian State Ballet and Opera House will burst onto the stage again with a new and exciting performance of The Nutcracker, and will bring with them all the colour, enthusiasm and vibrancy that one would expect.
The Christmas story is based on "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" written by E.T.A. Hoffmann. It tells the story of Marie, a rather sad little girl, whose godfather Drosselmeyer gives her a Nutcracker doll as a present on Christmas Eve which turns into a prince and the magic begins...
