Museums At Night Sleepover

A unique opportunity to take part in various activities and sleep over in the historic buildings!

Aimed at young night owls aged 5-12 this event is part of the annual after-hours celebration of arts, culture and heritage when hundreds of museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites open their doors for special evening events.

The event runs through to Saturday morning with a full schedule of exciting activities including Nelson’s hat making, edible medals decorating, big games playing, rocket air cannon making and firing, climbing walls, and a GPS treasure hunt, as well as plenty of snacks and refreshments; culminating in a sleep over in the historic building of Action Stations, which is over 150 years old.

To be one of the unique few to spend an evening sleeping over at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard you need to purchase a ticket before 14th May. Accompanying adults are free.
