Grisly Tales From Tumblewater
Grisly Tales From Tumblewater tells the story of a young orphan, Daniel Dorey, as he finds himself in the crumbling, rain-soaked town of Tumblewater. Daniel has a mystery to solve and a destiny to fulfil and along the way he meets a host of eccentric and grotesque characters.
The show - adapted from Bruno Vincent's deliciously dark novel - is fast-paced, packed with macabre humour and genuine frights, and features original songs accompanied live on the mandolin. With broad appeal to a family and general audience, the Lighthouse are pitching it as Charles Dickens meets Roald Dahl via Horrible Histories.
The show was directed by award-winning theatre-maker and performer Caroline Horton.
Ages 8+.
