Super Saturday: Here Comes The Armada

Have fun with a guest artist creating a giant collage of ships. You can use old maps, atlases and the 'A Royal Game' sculpture for your inspiration. The sculpture features Queen Elizabeth I and Philip II of Spain playing an imaginary game of chess with pieces shaped like the ships from the
Spanish Armada. During the sessions we will try and get everyone to line up their work together, creating a huge fleet of ships, like the Armada itself!
