Eastlake's Plymouth: A Family Adventure Through Time
Walk back 200 years in time! Through the help of young Plymothian painter, Charles Eastlake, explore historical sites in the city, meeting various characters along the way including a captured, yet still pompous Napoleon Bonaparte! The route will go from the City Museum and Art Gallery to Plymouth Hoe and will include free entry to Smeaton’s Tower and musical entertainment from scurvy sea dogs, 'Tobacco Road'. Lots of fun to be had for everyone! Meet at the Museum just before 11:00am. Please wear comfortable footwear and suitable clothing for the weather and perhaps take a picnic lunch (there is a shelter to eat in). This is a family-friendly event most suitable for children aged 7-11, all of whom must be accompanied by an adult. To book and for more information please call 01752 304774.
