Christmas Commission: Jinjoo Kim

Following a call out for proposals from artists earlier this year, Plymouth Arts Centre has selected an application by London-based Korean artist, Jinjoo Kim. The recent MA Fine Art graduate from Chelsea College of Art & Design will be developing a new work for the cafe space, to be exhibited during the Christmas period.

Referencing the two timezones disconnecting the artist from her family on the other side of the world, Jinjoo Kim's work will take the form of a multimedia installation, titled Investigation on Two Spheres and Waves(3). This work will be a variation on previous work which has also used projected animation to explore ideas of memory and repetition.
