Family Fun Day

Scone Palace is inviting visitors to come along and enjoy a host of activities and events in the Palace gardens and grounds at the Family Fun Day on Sunday 3rd August.

Come and meet our emergency services and find out more about the fantastic work they do. A real-life Fireman will be reporting for duty as the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service bring along one of their fire engines for everybody to explore. The Army Reserves will also be on hand to talk about life in the modern-day military, at their special promotional caravan.

Other activities will include a falconry demonstration; casting instruction for children with Lower Scone Fishery Manager, Iain Kirk; children’s gardening workshops with the Scone Palace Gardening Team; plus traditional children’s outdoor games including skittles, hoopla and horse shoe-throwing.
