Never miss another 'Perth Choral Society' show
Spring Concert : Perth Choral Society, City of Perth Sinfonia
The first performance of Dvo?ák’s Stabat Mater took place on 23 December 1880 in Prague. In 1883 it was performed in London and was so successful that Dvo?ák was invited to conduct it himself in 1884. This marked the beginning of the composer’s popularity in Britain.
Perth Choral Society will be accompanied by the City of Perth Sinfonia and joined by a quartet of distinguished soloists, all under the command of Peter Rutterford, Director of Music.
