Oxford Philomusica Summer Baroque Series - Virtuoso Bach: Mahan Esfahani, The Soloists of Oxford Philomusica
The Oxford Philomusica Soloists are joined by guest conductor and harpsichord virtuoso, Mahan Esfahani - who starred in a sold-out recital at last year's Proms - for a dazzling programme which seems designed to confirm Bach's famous observation that 'everything must be possible.
Tonights programme will be:
Bach: Flute Suite No. 2 in B minor.
Telemann: Concerto for four Violins in D major.
Bach: Harpsichord Concerto No. 2 in E major.
Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor
Pachelbel: Canon in D major.
Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D major.
See oxfordphil.com/content/virtuoso-bach or call 01865 980 980 for tickets and further information.
