Voice Festival UK: Oxford Regional Of The UK University Championships 2013: Oxford Belles + In The Pink + Ultrasounds + Oxford Alternotives + King's Chicks
For one night only, don't miss four of Oxford's finest university a cappella groups and visiting London group, The King's Chicks, bring their vocal acrobatics and sensational harmonies to the stage as they compete in the Oxford Regional of the Voice Festival UK University Championships 2013!
Oxford Alternotives
The Oxford Alternotives (The Oxford Alternative Singing Society) formed in 1993. The three founding members were University of Oxford students who had previous experience singing in choirs but wanted to try something new and exciting.
Soon afterwards, they recruited a fourth, whose experience in the college a cappella phenomenon in the USA helped to give the newly formed group a direction, towards
singing contemporary pop and rock music, mostly arranged by members of the group.
The members have changed over the years but there are currently 14 members, all connected to Oxford in some way.
