Scotland’s premier chamber music ensemble perform an Italianate programme, including exquisite miniatures by Puccini and Wolf and one of Boccherini’s finest chamber pieces, full of melodic innovation and nimble virtuosity. They end with one of the most universally loved of Tchaikovsky’s works, in which he expresses his love for one of the most beautiful of all Italian cities.
