Tony Jacobs

Tony Jacobs is one of the country’s most entertaining performers with an exceptional repertoire of swing and popular music from the 1920s – 1950s.

This exciting show celebrates the music and performers of the era with fascinating - sometimes hilarious anecdotes of the day and includes highlights from his successful shows – The Sinatra Years, The Gershwin Years and Let’s Face The Music.

He brings together top musicians from big band backgrounds to play songs and music we love. He connects with the audience in inspires them to truly listen to the songs – maybe for the very first time and to ‘feel’ the magic of music written by geniuses.

Tony is accompanied by regulars Jim Barry (piano), Sue Greenway (saxophone), Len Walker (guitar), Paul Morgan (double bass), Steve Rushton (drums). Special guest is the lovely Catherine Sykes – a wonderful singer who is described as having ‘a voice to die for!’
