Thrillah: Easy Star All-Stars + Laid Blak
Following up on their hugely successful reggae tribute albums 'Dub Side Of The Moon' (2003), 'Radiodread' (2006) and 'Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band' (2009), the New York-based reggae tribute super-group, the East Star All-Stars release their adaptation of the greatest selling record of all time – Michael Jackson's Thriller.
'Easy Star's Thrillah' is released on August 27th, followed by a UK tour for November, coinciding with the 30th Anniversary of the release of 'Thriller'.
The band's live show is legendary, and having performed at Glastonbury Festival 2009 on three days across three stages (including the Pyramid Stage), they were nominated for a UK Festival Award.
Easy Star All-Stars
A covers group with a twist - Easy Star All-Stars don't just cover songs, they cover entire albums, and what's more, they do it reggae style! To date they have published two albums, Dub Side Of The Moon, an interpretation of the Pink Floyd classic, and Radiodread, which dealt with the famous OK Computer, on Easy Star records.
