The twenty pieces that comprise Vingt regards sur l’enfant-Jésus make immense demands of the performer. Steven Osborne’s recording of the cycle was called ‘awe-inspiring’ by The Sunday Times, while Gramophone celebrated its ‘towering authority and technical achievement’.
