Pigs and Wolves Children's Workshop

Come and enjoy another of the Puppet Theatre's ever popular children's workshops - where you can get inspired by the story of the Three Little Pigs to create a big bad wolf or brave little pig!

The session is themed to a particular type of puppet - from rod puppet to marionette, Bunraku, glove and many more besides.

After constructing the basic puppet form, your child will be free to create the puppet's character using the vast array of materials provided. The only restriction will be their imagination and at the end they will have a wonderful puppet to take home!

Please note: during these sessions the child will be working with their peers, supported by the workshop leaders. Accompanying adults may either remain in the foyer and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or return to collect the child at the end of the workshop.

Workshops last for 1½ hours with a short break midway for a snack or a drink. These can be purchased from the shop or you can bring your own.

There is a wide range of materials to choose from as you create the puppet of your choice.
