Nature Theater of Oklahoma

“The greatest story never told..?” The Festival is delighted to present the hotly anticipated first visit to the UK by New York’s Nature Theater of Oklahoma.

Life and Times is their epic portrait of an unremarkable life, generated from one single, simple question to a friend: “can you tell me your life story?”.

Episodes 3 & 4 are the high school years (age 14 to18) of young adulthood, and its consequent desire for freedom and independence from the seeming prison of home and family life. Experimentation, rebellion, and experiments with drugs collide with religion, metaphysics and first love. The drama of teenage life unravels in the manner of a locked room mystery murder play (think The Mousetrap).
