Odd- In Concert

Royal & Derngate is proud to be working with Perfect Pitch to support the development of Odd, an original musical based on Homer’s Odyssey by Chris Bush and Matt Winkworth, winners of the 2014 Perfect Pitch and Royal & Derngate Award for Musical Theatre. Sixteen year old Odessa is dragged from the Thames in a raging storm. Talking to the officers who saved her, she relates the incredible story of her ten year journey home. Fusing traditional musical styles with spoken word influences, Odd is an urgent, contemporary retelling of a timeless classic.
