Velvet Engine, the brainchild of Latino Northamptonian San-D Godoy, emerged enthusiastically into our lives and our hearts at the start of 2008. Introducing occasional guests, In 2012, they released the long-awaited debut release 'Glimpse Of The Sun', a collection of songs which have been described as "Yearning Pop Folk, with a sprightly but reflective soul".

Counting Laura Marling, Neil Young, Daughter and Fleet Foxes amongst her many influences, we can expect great things from this new breed of heart-warming pop folk music and Velvet Engine will be sure to drive it in the right direction with her catalogue of honest yet timid and catchy songs.

Now back to launch the new EP 'This Old Hat' at The Holy Sepulchre Church, a venue so dazzling and Holy that the EP launch will be seared into memories for years to come.
