Jodi Picoult

Jodi Picoult grew up in Nesconset, New York. She received an A.B. in creative writing from Princeton and a master's degree in education from Harvard. Her previous novels include The Storyteller, Nineteen Minutes, and My Sister's Keeper - which was made into a major motion picture. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband and three children.

Her new book - Leaving Time is a beautiful portrait of a mother's love for her child, and a child's need for a mother. It is about the staying power of love, and how three broken souls might just mend each other by being brought together.
