In the space of just nine years, the long distance chase has established itself as the first real test of the season, where legends are born and icons are celebrated, including four-time winner Kauto Star.

This year, a new Hurdle Race has also been confirmed – which will target leading candidates for the 2015 Champion Hurdle. The Betfair Price Rush Hurdle will be a Class 2 weight for age race run over 2 miles on Haydock Park’s Outer Flat Track, for a Total Prize Fund of £100,000.
