Aladdin

Aladdin is a traditional family pantomime that follows the tale of the poor but work shy Aladdin who along with his simple brother Wishee Washee have to work in their Mum's (Widow Twankey's) laundry service. Along comes Abanazar claiming to be a powerful wizard and tricks Aladdin to get a magic lamp from a dark cave, and then as if by magic a Genie appears!

Somewhere along the way Aladdin falls in love with the beautiful Princess Jasmine but as he's too poor the Sultan and Sultana won't let them marry until the Genie (along with help from his distant cousin the Genie of the ring) perform more magical wonders to make Aladdin rich. Of course the story is full of more intrigue and suspense, from scary moments provided by Mummies to funny moments with Wishee causing shrinking disasters in the laundry.

You are guaranteed Eastern promise from the lively musical numbers, old and new, to the ahh factor from our cuddly panda and ooohhhh from a real Chinese dragon. This panto will give you lots of fun, slapstick and great characters and thanks to fabulous talents of its author Chris Shinn some great comedy.
