Guy Mankowski, Kingsley Chapman

On 28th February The Cluny 2 in Newcastle will host a unique evening of literature and music, bringing together artists from different fields on one stage.

The evening will launch the hotly anticipated novel How I Left The National Grid, by Newcastle based author Guy Mankowski, and will feature music from Kingsley Chapman of the acclaimed North East band The Chapman Family. The Chapman Family’s debut album was described by The NME as ‘angsty, cliché free brilliance’.

Also on the bill is the Newcastle-born Hausfrau, an act recently described as ‘mesmerising and understated’ by The List.
