Exile - Vivien Wood
Exile is a newly commissioned dance theatre piece by Vivien Wood. Inspired by the Lindisfarne Gospels, the piece focuses on the themes of belonging, rejection and isolation. "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not".
This new work is a new collaboration between international dance, physical theatre, musicians and singers from Pina Baush, DV8, Theatre Zar and Northern Symphonia.
Commissioned by Dance City. 16+. This performance will feature language of an adult nature.
