Bridie Jackson & The Arbour are from Newcastle Upon Tyne. They launched their début album, Bitter Lullabies, with a sold-out show at The Sage Gateshead in January 2012.

Bridie Jackson And The Arbour are a Newcastle-based four-piece, who use sparse instrumentation and intriguing vocal harmonies to create music that is simultaneously beautiful, ethereal, dark and powerful.
Their music has drawn comparisons to artists such as Bjork, The Fleet Foxes, and Feist, but there are echoes of influences as diverse as gospel and flamenco. Their unique sound may be difficult to define, but their audiences are instantly drawn in by their engaging, passionate performances.
