Palindromes: Jason Seife

Juxtaposing the pomp of the Renaissance with the reverential grandeur of space opera, Palindromes is Miami-based Jason Seife's worldwide debut solo exhibition. Seife's prodigal talents in art direction – currently employed by some of music's biggest names, including Pharrell Williams and Big Sean – bring a super-modern production style to his works. "I like to bring the work back to this generation through mediums that weren't used then", he says.

Embelleshing Seife's merciless sense for the dramatic, three of the major works showcased in the exhibition will each be accompanied by its own musical score, also composed by the artist. "Overall the theme of the exhibition is overcoming odds. The paintings are dark in nature, but upon them lingers the unmistakable smell of victory. It's the dark times which have taken me to where I am today", says the artist. "You can't enjoy reward without struggle."
