Gone With The Wind

A kittiwake is suspended within a dense mass of wildflower seeds, gathered from the finish area of the Great North Run, in this installation at the Laing Art Gallery.

Claire Morgan’s work, called Gone With The Wind, traces the passage of the individual through the crowds of runners who take part in the region’s famous half marathon each year.
