Blackadder Goes Forth

Adapted for the stage from the well-loved BBC television comedy series by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton, the laughs come thick and fast but always with an underlying respect for the ferocity of the Great War and the sacrifices of the men that fought in it.

Set in and around the trenches of Flanders during World War One, the morosely witty and sarcastic Captain Edmund Blackadder engages in a variety of cunning attempts to escape the impending almost-certain death that will come from going over the top in the ever-nearing ‘Big Push’.
