Damon Gough AKA Badly Drawn Boy burst into the national (and international) consciousness in 2000 when his album "Hour Of Bewilderbeast" hit the national charts and went on to win the prestigious Mercury Music prize.
Other hugely successful albums such as "Have You Fed The Fish" and "Born In The UK" were to follow, and Gough also won worldwide acclaim for the songs he wrote for the soundtrack to the smash hit film "About A Boy".
He remains one of the UKs most original, absorbing songwriter/performers and we are thrilled to welcome him to Words And Music festival.
